Eco-Corr® Biodegradable VpCI® Film, Patented
Description:
Eco-Corr Film® is the first biodegradable corrosion inhibiting film that contains Cortec’s proprietary VpCI® Technology and provides excellent contact, barrier, and vapor-phase corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.Eco-Corr Film® will disintegrate into carbon dioxide and water within 2-3 months in a commercial composting environment. The exact time for films to biodegrade is dependent upon the conditions and activity of the disposal environment (temperature, soil quality, activity of microorganisms). Eco-Corr Film® is shelf stable and will not break down prematurely until disposed of in a propercomposting environment. It is compostable and compliant to ASTM D6400 (BPI #051109-C).

Package:
Metal parts packaged in Eco-Corr Film® receive continuous protection against salt, excessive humidity, condensation, moisture, aggressive industrial atmospheres, and dissimilar metal corrosion.

Eco-Corr® ESD
Description:
Eco Corr® ESD is 100% biodegradable and compostable film utilizing Cortec's patented VpCI® technology along with eliminating static electricity. In addition to offering 100% biodegradability, 100% compostability and VpCI® technology, EcoCorr® ESD provides better tensile strength, tear strength and ultimate elongation than low density polyethylene films. EcoCorr® ESD is also heat and water stable and does not disintegrate or break apart while in use.

Package:
Eco-Corr® ESD is available in standard sizes 36" (91.4cm) width x 500' (152,4 meters) length and 48" (122 cm) width x 500' (152,4 meters) length rolls, as well as a wide variety of custom sizes and forms. Custom products include single wound sheeting, double wound sheeting, U-sheets, M-sheets, center folds, gusset tubes, converted bags made from these types of film and perforated or bag-on-a-roll products.

Eco Film
Description:
Eco Film™ is most similar to low density polyethylene, but is up to 300% stronger than LDPE.  It is the softest in appearance and the most elastic formulation we offer.  Eco Film™ is certified compostable per ASTM D 6400, and is listed on both BPI and Din Certco’s list of approved products.

Package:
Eco Film is available in 3 stock sizes, based on the most common container/bin sizes used in organics diversion programs.  Eco Film is also available in custom sizes, thicknesses and forms—essentially any form available in polyethylene is likely available in Eco Film.  Eco Film can be custom printed and can be produced as standard translucent, white opaque and black opaque.  In some markets, retail packages of Eco Film are available.

EcoShrink™ Compostable Film
Description:
EcoShrink™ Compostable Shrink Film is a specialty shrink wrapping film designed to make the “circular economy” a reality while meeting common packaging needs. EcoShrink™ is made with certified commercially compostable resins and designed for use in standard heat-shrinking applications. Users of EcoShrink™ can shrink wrap their small or large components as normal for a streamlined fit conforming to the shape of the object. After use, EcoShrink™ can be disposed of in a commercial composting environment to reduce the amount of plastic packaging that normally ends up in a landfill.* EcoShrink™ is shelf and curb stable and will retain its integrity until disposed of properly.
Package:
Available in 2 or 4 mil (50 or 100 µm) thicknesses and as single wound or centerfold sheeting at 18” (45.72 cm) or 36” (91.44 cm) widths as individually boxed rolls or cradle packed pallets. To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C). Shelf life: 2 years

Eco Works
Description:
Eco Works® is a family of formulations that are designed to combine certified compostability per ASTM D 6400, with a high biobased content.  Biobased content currently ranges from 5% to 70% of the total formulation.  As biobased content increases, so does the rigidity of the film.  Eco Works® ranges from elastic to highly rigid and is ideally suited to replace non-degradable films such as LDPE, HDPE and BOPP.  All Eco Works® formulations are certified compostable and are listed on both BPI and Din Certco’s approved products.

Package:

Eco Works® can be customized to your precise needs, including rigidity, thickness, form, print, tint, barrier properties and strength.
